Our Club has purchased pro-Ukraine stickers which the Canadian Lithuanian Youth Association is selling as a fundraiser for Ukraine. We will be distributing these stickers during the month of April to each of our members.
We also ask for your participation and support in bringing gently used or new pieces of sporting equipment to the Resurrection Parish gym this month as a donation, even simple things such as frisbees and balls. A message of hope is to be written with that piece of equipment along with our club’s and player’s names. At the end of the month, each team will take a photo with their sporting equipment donations. The equipment collected will be given to the Ukrainian Congress of Canada to be delivered to Ukraine.
We hope that the Aušra Sports Club efforts will bring us together and provide a little bit of comfort and support to our brothers and sisters in need!
