This summer Lithuania celebrates 100 years since the seed for the very first song festival was planted in 1924 in Kaunas. Voices of the Canadian Lithuanian Song Festival Choir from Montreal and Toronto will soar as they perform songs from the repertoire of the upcoming song festival „May the Green Forest Grow“ in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Join us at Church of Resurrection Parish Hall, Toronto, on Sunday, April 7th, 2024 at 2 pm to hear pieces by contemporary composers as well as special arrangements of Lithuanian folk songs. Let‘s send Canada‘s singers off to the festival in Vilnius in high spirits!
Tickets may be purchased on the day of the concert or in advance starting from March 3rd at Resurrection Parish Sundays from 9:30 am – 1 pm.
