The Lithuanian Ministry of Education, Science and Sports is allocating funds to teachers in the diaspora for Lithuanian language studies under the direction of post-secondary institutions in Lithuania. Applications are currently being accepted from Lithuanian school, pre-school and adult education teachers in the diaspora as well as instructors of Baltic/Lithuanian studies. The courses are 15 days long, and include advanced Lithuanian teaching skills and information on Lithuanian culture, history, modern day life and other topics.   

The deadline for applications to Vilnius University (https://www.flf.vu.lt/lsk/lituanistines-studijos-mokytojams) is April 21, Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas (https://svietimas.vdu.lt/uzsienio-lituanistiniu-mokyklu-mokytojams-intensyvios-studijos-vdu-2/) and Klaipėda University (https://www.ku.lt/lukc/lituanistines-studijos-mokytojams/): April 27. Applications should be submitted to only one university.
