The Toronto “Aušra” Sports Club’s 69th anniversary celebration on Sunday, Feb 4th at Resurrection parish was a wonderful event commemorating many years of sports teams, friendships and activities in our Lithuanian community from its earliest roots, established in 1955. It brought together coaches and players from teams of the past with coaches, players and children who are the future of the Aušra Sports Club. Everyone enjoyed the many events that took place including Lego building, a basketball clinic, table tennis, Church service, men’s basketball game and a wonderful Lithuanian lunch.
