The website is a non-profit publication, as was our newspaper, sustained by past and current subscribers and supporters. Just as the newspaper did, the website needs your financial assistance for us to continue providing new information each week in Lithuanian and English.
Our website, tevzib.com, continues the tradition of the former newspaper “Tėviškės žiburiai – Lights of Homeland“. Our mission is to provide political, religious, Lithuanian language-learning, sports and other cultural news for Lithuanian community members and Canadians of Lithuanian descent. Our website is currently the only source of Lithuanian news in Canada, and is free of charge, easy to access and open to everyone interested in the Lithuanian community life and connections to Lithuania.
