On this day, singing the Lithuanian National Anthem all over the world has become a beautiful tradition. Due to the pandemic, a video greeting directed to Lithuanians around the world was prepared in advance by the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Canada team.
From the East to the West coast, from Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary, Wasaga, Vancouver and, of course, from Niagara Falls, we are all united in singing the National Anthem and our collective love for Lithuania.
Ambassador Darius Skusevičius filmed Niagara Falls in a drone flight especially for this occasion.
Sincere thanks to Agnė Zalanskaitė and her team for the video production. It uses video material sent by Lithuanian communities across Canada, as well as clips from the Virtual Celebration of the Day of Restoration of the State of Lithuania in Canada, 2021.
