After a warm, lovely, and long vacation from folk dancing, it’s time to dance! Really! It’s happening!
Toronto‘s Lithuanian folk dance group “Gintaras” invites children and youth to the first dance practice which will be held at 6:30 pm on Thursday, September 22nd at Anapilis. Registration is open to children from SK to grade 10.
The student group’s (grade 11 and up) first dance practice will be at 6:00 pm on Sunday, September 18th, at Anapilis.
Registration for all dancers will be held during the first practice. Registration forms can be printed from the Gintaras website: www.torontogintaras.com/registration/. The cost is $75.00 for the first child and $50.00 for each additional child. Please have all forms completed with payment in by October 6th.
It is imperative that all parents come to the first practice as a lot of important information regarding the coming year’s events will be shared.
Current dancers are asked to bring national costumes and dance shoes which they have outgrown to the first practice where they will have an opportunity to exchange or sell them to other dancers.
