This is the highest standing ever for a Lithuanian university, significant not only for the university itself but for the Lithuanian education system as a whole, said VU Chancellor Prof. Rimvydas Petrauskas. He expressed confidence in the fact that VU may continue to maintain the highest scholastic standards in the international arena, as long as dialogue continues with the country‘s leadership to ensure long-term perspectives through adequate financing, and prioritization of education.
