Aušros vartai (Our Lady of the Dawn) parish in Montreal, QC, intended to celebrate its 70th anniversary last year, but was prevented by COVID restrictions. This year we celebrate the 70th and 71st on Sunday, November 28. Music at the 12 noon Mass will be performed by Kristina Kliorys and Alexander Stankevičius.
After Mass, a classical concert will take place in the church, with Manuel Blais and Eric Prud’homme. Our Embassy Team, led by Darius Skusevicius, will be in attendance.
Special souvenir calendars will be distributed. Donations are very welcome.
Please use the hand sanitizer at the door, wear a mask, and respect the indicated distances in the church. Registration is not required for the mass and concert.
A reception will follow in the parish hall, with donations accepted at the door. Registration for the reception is required immediately (for food purchases): please contact Vilia Bulotienė at 438-870-8256 or [email protected]. Proof of vaccination is not required: contact tracing sheet must be completed, please use the hand sanitizer provided, and masks must be worn at all times when not actively eating or drinking.
