Sunday, September 24, 4 pm, Lithuanian House – Literary Discussion

A literary event with author Antanas Šileika presenting translators Dr. Violeta Kelertas and Marytė Račys and their newly published translation of Julija Žemaitė‘s Marriage for Love – a Lithuanian classic exploring Lithuanian women‘s quest for rights in the 1800‘s. The event also includes Lithuanian-American author Birutė Putrius introducing her work, The Last Book Smuggler.

Refreshments will be provided after the discussion.
