Join the Toronto Lithuanian Community as we learn from Danguole Breen, the curator of “Democracy – One Defining Moment” a special digital gallery put on through the Lithuanian Museum-Archives of Canada. 

 

This digital gallery commemorates the events of January 13, 1991 and sheds a spotlight on Toronto and Canada’s ongoing response. 

 

WHEN: Sunday, February 7 from 3:00- 4:30 pm ET

HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Please send an email to [email protected] by Saturday February 6 to confirm your attendance along with any questions you might have for Danguole in advance. 

 

In addition, if you or your family members have a personal connection to Toronto’s crisis centre or the events of January 13th, time will be dedicated for open reflection during this event.
